Mid July sees an explosion of creativity in Nelson as three major art-related festivals kick off simultaneously on the weekend of 11 – 13 July: the Nelson Winter Music Festival, Art Expo Nelson and of course, Light Nelson. With 17 days of concerts and live music, over 1000 artworks for sale at the Expo and Light Nelson’s dramatic light-based installations transforming the Queen’s Gardens after dark, there is plenty to entertain, stimulate and inspire.
