The Winter Garden Light Project started life almost a year ago. After the lockdown we were fortunate that we could come together and meet again in person, but we needed a new focus, something that would keep us together and encourage others to get involved. A call went out for project ideas that the Collective could support and make happen. Paul Nathen Lowry presented a project that fitted well with the aims of the collective; to freely share knowledge and skills, to bring people together and to do something positive for our community. The project also aimed to highlight some of our local community groups that had similar goals, in particular Community Art Works, Victory Community Centre and Waimarama Community Organic Gardens.

At the gardens last night we had a fitting end to a year long journey with food and friends - Thanks to everybody that has supported this project.

Don't forget Te Ramaroa starts this Friday (9th July)
